Northland Paddleboarding has been involved with the sport since its very beginning in New Zealand, and our mission is to turn as many people on to the sport as possible, because we know how good it is! So, whether you're new to the sport and want to know more and/or to try it out, or you're already a convert and looking to upgrade your gear, then we can help.

We've put together a portfolio of what we consider to be the very best paddleboarding gear, much of which we've designed (and in some cases manufactured) ourselves, some of which we import, and some of which we source from other NZ importers at very good prices. Check out our paddles and accessories at NZ Paddle Company, and our Suwaka wetsuits. Indeed, we can supply most of the leading models and ranges of boards and paddles, but we are not tied to any one manufacturer so our advice is impartial, based on our experience rather than commercial considerations. Except when it comes to the RED AIR inflatable paddleboards, which we are hugely passionate about - especially now that we're doing much of the R&D for the brand, developing new models and improving the overall product even further.

Wanting to get yourself a proper paddlesurfing board for getting out there in the waves, but baffled by all the options? Well, why not come and try some before you buy?? We have a wide range of wave boards between 10'6 and 9'0, all sorts of different widths and sizes, spanning many different brands - and hugely varied in character and style. Because the simple fact is that because there are so many different options - if you don't try before you buy, you might well get it horribly wrong. We're available for lessons, courses and cruises in the Bay of Islands area, and further afield by arrangement. We operate as the weather and water conditions dictates, rather than trying to work to specific schedules, so our schedule is extremely flexible.
